They feel foreign
almost like they belong in someone else's world
and I just happened to steal them away

Unknown origins of indescribable bliss 
fueled by the selfish need to finally have the world
or at least a piece of the good it could bring

Should it be termed selfish?
should want for only the good things be considered selfish?
honestly, if it is, then I wouldn't mind being selfish
as long as I can secure this peace
this fulfilment
