We call them Yahoo-yahoo boys.

                           We call them yahoo-yahoo boys and basically what they do is scam unsuspecting people over the internet. Fraudsters that often catfish themselves as women, claiming they need financial assistance for health problems, academic needs and most times promising to open businesses for these people. They almost always have evidence to support these claims, the reason most people fall for their cunning ways. Their victims are called "MAGA".


                                             Last night I came across a video of Nigerian Artist FALZ  advising other artists to stop glorifying these fraudsters in their songs, there was nothing wrong with what he said. Going through the trend I began to see some really surprising negative comments some saying that because Falz was born with a silver spoon he had no right to speak on a struggle he was not familiar with. WHAT?!?? Is this how low our moral compasses have fallen? So because someone was born privileged he does not have the right to express himself on a particular issue? Some went the extra mile to explain that most of these boys are "street", born into poor families, unlike Falz.

      This morning on Instagram I saw the most insane post ever calling out Falz, most of it saying stuff like these yahoo boys are "THE NEW GENERATION ROBIN HOOD " stealing from the rich to feed the poor, and that nobody including him is perfect, pointing out that most international artist sing about Ammunition and drugs. They forget Robin was stealing the people's money back from the government that was overtaxing and giving it back to them not stealing it from them. Basically, they were saying the poor are exempted from committing such acts, or is it just me?  Because people do it does that make its right?


                  The fact that sane people justify such acts makes you wonder  Are they involved? Do they enjoy the benefits of such scams? Why would you make a crime seem like it's a legitimate way of life? It surprises me because these boys destroy homes, make people even commit suicide and destroy the countries already bruised reputation. I feel Greed is what fuel these actions, greed and the need to feel among; to own an iPhone and a flashy car and live large, but what to what extent? On other peoples sweat and tears.

                              May we never fall prey to these predators and their evil tactics.
